Violent Crimes
Our Violent Crimes Unit is led by Senior Assistant State’s Attorney, Scott Messersmith. This Unit provides legal counsel to law enforcement officers investigating violent crimes and is responsible for the prosecution of homicides, rapes, robberies, and burglaries in Wicomico County. Our Violent Crimes Unit is also currently assisting agencies with cold cases.
