Senior Assistant State’s Attorney Michael Calabrese was raised in Salisbury, Maryland, and after graduating with his Bachelor’s from Case Western Reserve University, traveled to Amman, Jordan, to learn Arabic. After a year in Jordan, Michael attended and graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Following graduation, he clerked for the Honorable S. James Sarbanes of the Circuit Court for Wicomico County. After a year of clerking, Michael was sworn in as an Assistant State’s Attorney here in Wicomico County.

Michael says, “Being a prosecutor has always been my dream job as it provides me the opportunity to help better my community”.
