Jamie was elected by the people of Wicomico County to serve as the State’s Attorney on November 6, 2018.  On December 4, 2017, Jamie was appointed to serve as Ad Interim State’s Attorney by the Circuit Court for Wicomico County.

Jamie was born, raised and has been a proud, lifelong resident of Wicomico County.  After graduating from Parkside High School, she attended Salisbury State University where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

In 2005, Jamie graduated cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Brett W. Wilson of the Circuit Court for Dorchester County until she was recruited to prosecute at the Office of the State’s Attorney for Wicomico County.

Jamie found her calling prosecuting violent crime committed against our most vulnerable citizens.  Jamie is proud to serve the people of her community as State’s Attorney and is proud of and grateful for the amazing team who work tirelessly, putting our community and their safety first.
