Gennadiy is an Assistant State’s Attorney in our District Court division. Gennadiy earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and a Master of Laws degree from the University of Toronto. Prior to joining our office, Gennadiy gained 5 years of prosecutorial experience as a Crown Prosecutor in the Canadian Prairie provinces, interned at the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in Holland and assisted at the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office in Michigan. Before returning to prosecution, Gennadiy worked as a defense counsel in Ontario for 2 years. Gennadiy plays accordion, is learning guitar, and is the father of 2 children.
